A launchpad for successful community living
We're a collective based across the UK who believe that community living should be more common.
We're do-ers, who understand the complexity of the legal, social, cultural, financial, political and physical landscape that supports or restricts this way of living.
Our goal is for intentional living to be a realistic, credible and appealing option which suits a wide range of modern lifestyles - with that extra twist of inspiration created by living in amazing places.
We run projects, hold events, transform property, support existing organisations and groups, join campaigns, share knowledge and bring people together to make living in community widely available within the UK.

The Soil
Nothing exists in a vacuum. We treat the wider environment as an intrinsic part of all our projects.
We are fired up by concepts around land stewardship, rewilding and the balance between modern living and the natural environment.
We are interested in stewarding land for nature’s sake through the community habits we create.

The Wider Environment
The Mycelium
We're deeply aware of the wider political, legal and societal frameworks we operate in.
We support support people and organisations whose effort improves opportunities for communal living.
